We have had quite a few days of overcast skies and rain. I know this isn’t big for some people, but for those of us that started the spring off with NO moisture and record setting fires that are just now being contained, the rain and clouds were such an incredible event. We are now moving back to sunny skies but the magic of the cool beautiful weather lingers. Hope is again in the air. This piece is cold wax and oils - I built up layers of color for a luminosity in the sky and texture in the foreground.
